MANNING, N.D. — The Dunn County Commission held a regular meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 5, where they discussed alterations to the Wind Energy Ordinance and the effects of kratom use. During the meeting at the Dunn County Courthouse, the commission held a second reading for the draft of the Wind Energy Ordinance. Before the reading, Ben Murphy, a board member of the Dunn County Farm Bureau, approached the commission regarding the ordinance. The commission voted to approve the second reading of the Wind Energy Ordinance. “A lot of the people that are using, they are community members in Dunn County,” Altringer said.
