CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has made an arrest after terrifying videos on social media show a man assaulting and chasing women who walk by him on the street. A women is seen being punched on the sidewalk. Once he’s released from there, he’ll be transferred to the Mecklenburg Sheriff’s Office and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. We checked, and Hunt has been arrested multiple times in Mecklenburg County over the past few years for assault on a female, domestic violence, violating restraining orders multiple times, and more. The mugshot in this story is from his arrest in December 2025, for second degree trespassing, assault with a deadly weapon, communicating threats and carrying a concealed weapon.
