ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Friends and family held a balloon release to honor 14-year-old Zah’nia Barr, nearly a week after she was shot and killed in the City of Rochester. Police say Barr was shot after a large crowd gathered near North Clinton Avenue and Morrill Street, where police later found her body. The balloon release happened not far from that exact spot.
