A temporary traffic order has been issued by Bromley Council to support repair and maintenance work being carried out by the water company, affecting a number of roads across the borough. In a public notice, Daniel Jones, director of environment and public protection at Bromley Council, said: "The council of the London Borough of Bromley hereby give notice that in order to allow Thames Water to complete repair and maintenance works in the streets listed in the schedule below. The roads affected include Beckenham Lane and Bourne Road in Bromley, Braemar Gardens in West Wickham, Chatham Avenue in Hayes, and Clock House Road in Beckenham. Other roads include College Road, Gravel Pit Way in Orpington, Green Lane in Chislehurst, Haysleigh Gardens in Penge, Hazelmere Road in Petts Wood, and Jaffray Road, Bromley.
