Bus routes across North, South, and East King County will see adjustments starting August 29, changes intended to improve connectivity with light rail. Several routes in Seattle, like the 8, will see more trips thanks to the Seattle Transit Measure. On top of the route adjustments, Seattle transit riders will see additional service on the Route 8, 72, 75, and 77 thanks to investments from the Seattle Transit Measure. The added Route 8 service will boost frequencies from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes throughout the day. Sound Transit will stop running the 586 between Tacoma and the University District, and retire the 515 between Lynnwood and Downtown Seattle.
