They signed Antwane "Juice" Wells Jr. in order to offer their franchise QB a built-in security blanket from an old friend. And while it originally looked like he would just be a camp body, the wideout quickly started to turn heads in training camp in Flowery Branch. He's started to develop a rapport with Michael Penix Jr.--whom he's connected with on multiple big plays across the last couple of days. During a 1-on-1 drill against Cobee Bryant, Wells Jr. did a nasty double move against Bryant that saw him connect with Penix on a long touchdown. Given the Giants didn't really have room for him in their crowded receiver room, it's cool to see he's started to make waves in a much more open rotation with the Falcons.
