Traffic chaos unfolded across Perth on Friday morning after multiple crashes caused lengthy delays. A crash just after 6am on Orrong Road travelling east before Oats Street in Kewdale has shut down a lane of traffic. A crash on Mitchell Freeway southbound near Loftus Street also caused peak-hour chaos just after 8am, with Incident Response closing the right lane. Amid the spate of crashes, motorists have also been urged to drive to the conditions as wet and foggy weather hits Perth. Roads remain wet after just over 2mm of rainfall poured over the metropolitan area overnight, and parts of Perth have experienced low visibility from fog.
