NVIDIA has announced that 26 games will be added to GeForce NOW during August, beginning with eight additions this week. The announcement coincides with NVIDIA’s presence at QuakeCon, where the company is demonstrating GeForce RTX 5080-powered cloud gaming at up to 5K and 120 frames per second on ultrawide displays. NVIDIA’s demonstration also positions the RTX 5080 as server-side gaming hardware rather than only a consumer desktop product. The practical experience will still depend on latency, connection stability and regional server availability, but the advertised 5K/120Hz target shows how cloud gaming is moving beyond conventional 1080p and 60Hz delivery.
