The Ormonde Table to Table, in Fred Archer Way in Newmarket, will close on Thursday, September 3. This is part of Whitbread’s wider plan to sell all of its remaining branded restaurants. A spokesman for Whitbread said: "We first announced our Accelerating Growth Plan to sell a number of our branded restaurants in April 2024. The decision follows the plan which aims to focus on expanding Premier Inn hotel capacity by replacing restaurant sites with additional rooms. He said: "Guests can still enjoy a great breakfast and dinner at all hotels as we are replacing branded restaurants with a restaurant inside the hotel."
