A popular caravan site is seeking to end a 50-year-old planning restriction in the hopes of boosting its tourist season.
Gruinard Bay Caravan Park, in Laide, has been restricted to operating just seven months a year since 1976, with its season running from April to October inclusive.
If approved by Highland Council the business will now operate from the start of March until the end of November inclusive.
In a supporting statement lodged with the application, Gruinard Bay Caravan Park's Dale and Kristina Irving explained the reasoning behind the proposal.
They also said that the move will support "long-term business sustainability, enabling continuous reinvestment into high-quality site infrastructure and local employment".
