Converse, Indiana - Reta J. Walker, 90, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, in Kokomo. On June 24, 1956, Reta married the love of her life, Gene D. Walker. Reta is survived by her husband, Gene; their children, Brad (Trish) Walker, Steve (Belinda) Walker, Ned (Debbie) Walker, Roger (Chasity) Walker and Marcia (Tim) Nugent; siblings, Richard Kling, Ray Kling and Nancy (Mickey) Bertelson; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on August 14, 2026, from 4pm-8pm at Converse Church of Christ, 301 East Wabash, Converse, Indiana.
