Blizzard Loses the Maestro Behind World of Warcraft and Overwatch

Blizzard is losing one of its most valuable team members who has contributed massively to the company’s wealth of games and franchises.
Burgess has worked at Blizzard for more than 11 years and has brought his composing prowess to the audio stylings of some of the company’s biggest games, including World of Warcraft, Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2.
He also reminisced on his “wonderfully creative career” at the World of Warcraft publisher, but said that he is “ready to try something new.”
