The affected officials are Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Gadanya of Bagwai LGA, Dr. Alhassan Salusu of Bebeji LGA and Alhaji Abubakar Mustapaha of Rogo LGA. The suspension followed adoption of findings by the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs during plenary proceedings. The taskforce chair reaffirmed the government's commitment to enforcing physical planning laws and emphasised that Kano maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward unapproved developments.
