SEPTA to close 11th Street Station for $44M accessibility project

SEPTA will break ground later this month on a $44 million project to make Philadelphia's 11th Street Station on the Market-Frankford Line fully accessible.
WATCH HERE WATCH HEREMore than 9,400 riders pass through 11th Street Station each weekday, according to the transit agency.
If you typically board or exit at 11th Street, you can use the 8th Street or 13th Street stations, both of which are ADA-accessible.
The two new elevators will make 11th Street Station fully compliantwith the ADA.
By the time construction at 11th Street Station is completed, 27 of 28 L stations will be fully accessible, officials said.
