Superintendent of the Cheltenham School District, Dr. Brian Scriven, has resigned. Scriven's resignation comes just one week after four Cheltenham High School football coaches and six players were charged following an investigation into two alleged locker room assaults. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREThe charges stemmed from two incidents in 2025 in which multiple football players allegedly assaulted a 15-year-old sophomore teammate inside the team's locker room. Officials said two football players, Isaiah Simpson and Josiah Peeler, who were both 18 at the time of the incidents and jury testimony, have been charged. Four other football players, who were juveniles at the time, face a variety of charges stemming from their acts during the locker room incidents and afterward, officials said.
