The funding enabled people living with pulmonary fibrosis, their carers and bereaved family members to take part in a day of friendship, relaxation and support. Clare Donohoe, Co-ordinator of Pulmonary Fibrosis NI, said the donation had made a lasting difference. He was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis in 2019 and became a strong advocate for raising awareness of the condition before his death in September 2024. Mrs. Donohoe said the raffle was a meaningful way to celebrate his life while supporting others living with pulmonary fibrosis. “It is a wonderful way to celebrate Tom’s life while helping others who are living with pulmonary fibrosis,” she said.
