A man was found dead Thursday morning in Lynn, Massachusetts, officials say, and the circumstances around it were under investigation. The body was reported about 6:18 a.m. on South Common Street, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said. The identity of the man and how he died were being investigated by state and local police, as well as the state's medical examiner's office. Few details were released, and the man was only identified as being 52 and having apparent trauma. Earlier, Lynn police said they had units for "an active investigation."
