Ms. Lynch said she enjoys how the fair, and the Agricultural Society in general, brings out the whole Island community. Inside the Agricultural Hall, fairgoers can expect the usual diverse display of art, quilts, photography, produce, flowers and baked goods. For Mr. Vieira, the significance of the Ag Fair can be summed up with one word: tradition. The 164th Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Fair takes place from Thursday, August 13 through Sunday, August 16.
