Music in Peebles launches its 2025-26 programme on October 9, with a performance by international violinist Mathilde Milwidsky and pianist Richard Uttley at the Eastgate Theatre. Their recital spans four centuries of music, from the Baroque to the 20th century. Helen Narracott, from Music in Peebles, said: "Mathilde and Richard are currently touring Scotland as part of a UK wide tour, and Mathilde has recently returned from Poland where she was taking part in the Krzyżowa Music Festival." Later in the season, pianist Patrick Hemmerlé will perform both Bach’s Goldberg Variations and Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations on November 8.
