Bridget Khursheed, from Darnick, stood out in the poetry category for her collection Exact Colour of Snow at The Saltires: Scotland’s National Book Awards. On the recognition, Bridget said: “I am honoured and delighted to be included on the longlist for my collection Exact Colour of Snow. The shortlist will be announced on October 16 and the the final accolades will be given out on November 19.
