Critical minerals company Tivan Limited has taken another step forward in the development of its Speewah fluorite project in Western Australia, appointing ICA Natural Resources to advise on debt financing for the operation. ICA Natural Resources has been appointed by Japan Australia Fluorite Associates (JAFA) to support transaction planning, structuring and execution of debt funding for the project, as Tivan progresses towards a final investment decision. Tivan executive chairman Grant Wilson said the appointment marked an important step towards completing the project finance process. “Delighted to announce the appointment of ICA Natural Resources on behalf of Japan Australia Fluorite Associates, following an extremely competitive process over the past two months,” Wilson said in a statement. “This announcement represents the start of our push to complete the project finance round for the Speewah Fluorite Project, enabling a Final Investment Decision that will be led by Tivan on behalf of our joint venture.”
