Hands Off NYC: We Are “Facing An Increase In ICE Activity Across The 5 Boroughs”

In response, Hae-Lin Choi, Co-Founder of Hands Off NYC, released the following statement:“Across American cities, we’ve seen what ICE’s occupation looks like: excessive force, unlawful abductions, families ripped apart, civil rights violations, and executions in the streets. “While facing an increase in ICE activity across the 5 boroughs, New Yorkers have come together in full force to make it clear: ICE is not welcome here. New York City won’t be intimidated — we will continue to stand together, be courageous, and protect our neighbors.” In the coming days, Hands Off NYC encourages New Yorkers to report ICE sightings to the hotline +1 (229) 304-8720, join neighborhood groups, and plug into Know Your Rights trainings.
