Courtesy photoThe Hawai‘i Department of Health Food and Drug Branch is alerting residents to a recall issued by Sun Noodle for its Sura Tanmen Hot and Sour Flavor Premium Japanese Noodles & Soup Base. The recall was issued due to inadvertently packing a soba sauce soup base, which contains fish, into the Sura Tanmen package. To date, there have been no reports of illness or adverse events attributed to the recalled product, the department reported. The recalled product was distributed exclusively in Hawai‘i to Don Quijote, Times Supermarket, H Mart, Marukai Wholesale Mart, Nijiya Market and other local grocers and distributors.
