A joint operation by Petaluma Police and the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Penngrove man. The Press Democrat reports authorities launched the investigation following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Investigators linked the suspect to multiple explicit videos involving minors before taking him into custody in a Rohnert Park parking lot. Detectives also searched the suspect’s Penngrove home, seizing several electronic devices for further analysis. The suspect, whose name is being withheld pending formal charges, was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court on August 13th.
