North Queensland Cowboys captain Reuben Cotter is the only player facing a charge out of Thursday night's 30-8 victory over the Gold Coast Titans. Cotter was charged with a Grade 1 careless high tackle offence on Titans fullback Jayden Campbell during the Cowboys' important bounce-back win at Queensland Country Bank Stadium. The Cowboys skipper can accept an early guilty plea and receive a $1000 fine, or challenge the charge at the judiciary and risk an additional $500 penalty if found guilty. Titans forward Cooper Bai avoided any penalty after being placed on report during the match for a dangerous tackle, escaping further action from the MRC. Despite playing a man down, the Cowboys held firm to secure the win and take a step towards reviving their season.
