Shell Catalysts & Technologies (Amsterdam, Netherlands) announced that it has sold a number of intellectual property assets and experienced personnel relating to its Environmental Catalysts and Systems (ECS) business to Lummus Technology (Houston, Texas). For Shell Catalysts & Technologies, the divestment supports the ECS business’s continued growth within a complementary environmental solution technology platform. Shell Catalysts & Technologies built the ECS business into a proven environmental solutions business, with more than 30 years of experience delivering emissions-control systems globally. This continues to be a critical area for Shell and Shell Catalysts & Technologies.
