While every moment on our journey matters, it is our early years that helped shape who we are today. The trust I had in my mother and my mother’s trust in God merged into my moment of healing. I knew God would hear my prayers for my father and he would receive his moment of healing. What I didn’t fully realize at age 11 was that when I accepted Jesus as my Savior, I experienced my moment of healing .
