Saviour Senior High School has secured a return to the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) National Championship after emerging winners in the Eastern Regional qualifiers, ending a one-year absence from Ghana's premier academic competition. The school accumulated 46 points to finish ahead of Nkwatia Presby SHS, which mounted a strong challenge but settled for second place with 41 points. The contest remained competitive throughout, with Nkwatia Presby SHS staying within striking distance of the eventual winners for much of the competition. However, Saviour SHS maintained its composure in the closing stages to preserve a five-point advantage and seal automatic qualification for the 2026 national finals. Saviour SHS now joins the growing list of schools from the Eastern Region to have secured places at the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz National Championship as the regional qualifying series continues.
