WASHINGTON (AURN News) — Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., returned home Thursday, nearly eight weeks after a fall landed him in the hospital. McConnell cast no votes during his 53-day absence, while Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, a Democrat, publicly called for greater transparency and urged McConnell to demonstrate that he was fit to serve or resign. McConnell said he would continue physical therapy at home while remaining engaged in Senate work. Click play to listen to the report from AURN White House Correspondent Ebony McMorris.
