Graham Ramage was alleged to have assaulted and engaged in a course of conduct that was abusive of the woman between dates in January and December 2024. Mr Ramage was said to have shouted, sworn, made derogatory remarks towards the woman and mocked her mental health status. He was also claimed to have grabbed the woman by the neck on one occasion and dragged her down a set of stairs at an address in the town. The 49-year-old also stood trial accused of assaulting a child by seizing them by the neck and dragging them down a set of stairs at the home. But following three days of evidence, the 15-person jury returned not guilty verdicts on both charges and Mr Ramage, of Mallard Park, walked free from the dock.
