Scottish Water has announced that it will be closing Market Street in Musselburgh for about four weeks from Monday, August 24, for repairs and upgrades to the sewer system. The work involves diverting and replacing 70 metres of the sewer network to reduce flooding risk and improve the wastewater system. The road will be closed for safety, but diversions will be in place. The work will be done in phases, with a moving road closure to reduce disruption.
