Templeton man’s body found on Highway 101August 6, 2026By KAREN VELIECalifornia Highway Patrol officers identified the person whose body was found lying beside Highway 101 in northern San Luis Obispo County on July 31 as 37-year-old Chad Corpuz of Templeton. His body was found lying off southbound Highway 101 near Vineyard Drive. A Caltrans worker discovered the man’s body face down on the dirt shoulder of the highway. In mid-June, Corpuz’s family reported him missing. He had walked away from his home on June 14, and was reported missing two days later.
