The nomination was announced in a statement issued on Thursday by NiDCOM’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols, Abdur-Rahman Balogun. According to Mr Balogun, the conference, themed “Invest Nigeria, Thrive Abroad,” is scheduled to be held from August 12 to 15, 2026, in Toronto. He said the Nigerian delegation will be led by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila. Other officials include representatives of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigeria Customs Service, Immigration Service, and Revenue Service, as well as the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission, Export Promotion Council, and NITDA.
