At the time of her death, Randa was preparing to begin her senior year at Chamberlain High School.
A wreath and basket of flowers honor Randa Haak at the Chamberlain City Pool on Aug. 1, 2026.
Each year, the family awards scholarships in her honor, including one through the school and another for a Chamberlain City Pool lifeguard.
Cruz Soulek, Chamberlain City Pool manager, never worked alongside Randa as a lifeguard, but knew her through the summer recreation program.
