The EastEnders legend, 62, welcomed the birth of his twin daughters at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital in 2017. And now he has joined a team of people who have signed a petition calling for more support for the UK's veterans. The letter asks the Prime Minister to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and states that veteran care is a matter of national security. Members of the public, employers, MPs, and the wider Armed Forces community are being encouraged to sign the letter before it is presented to 10 Downing Street next month. Help for Heroes was founded in 2007 to support veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with life-changing injuries and illnesses.
