Bicester Town Council has released a public statement expressing its "deep disappointment" at the lack of communication from the Home Secretary and the Home Office about the plan to house asylum seekers at MOD Bicester Site A. On July 14 Bicester Town Council wrote to the Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood setting out its position and request detailed information on the proposal. "Local democratic representatives have a clear duty to seek clarity and to represent the legitimate concerns of the communities they serve.
