North America’s largest night market is set to close after 26 years of bringing food, shopping and entertainment to Richmond, British Columbia. The Richmond Night Market, a summer tradition in the Vancouver area, will hold its final night on Sept. 20. Organizers said the decision comes after the market’s lease ended, bringing the current chapter of the event to a close. “The decision comes as the market’s lease has come to an end, bringing this chapter of the Richmond Night Market to a close,” organizers said in a statement Wednesday. Organizers have not confirmed whether the Richmond Night Market will return at another location.
