Singapore Police Force has released a full traffic advisory for National Day Parade (NDP) 2026, set for Aug. 9 at the National Stadium, marking the parade's return to the venue after 10 years at other locations. Police have also designated the National Stadium precinct a "Special Event Area" under the Public Order Act 2009, classifying NDP 2026 as an Enhanced Security Special Event. Roads affected include Stadium Drive, Stadium Boulevard, Stadium Walk, Stadium Crescent, Jalan Benaan Kapal, Nicoll Highway, Guillemard Road, Sims Way, Mountbatten Road and Tanjong Rhu Road. Auxiliary police officers, security personnel and Singapore Armed Forces marshals will be stationed at affected junctions to direct traffic and assist motorists. A real-time crowd-monitoring tool for the National Stadium area is available for the public to check conditions before heading out.
