Burnaby RCMP are investigating a reported sexual assault that took place along the BC Parkway near Ron McLean Park earlier this week. Police say the incident occurred on Aug. 4 between 5:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. as a woman was walking eastbound on the pathway near Rumble Street and Hedley Avenue. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing a white T-shirt and loose-fitting black shorts. RCMP said investigators are working to gather additional evidence and identify the suspect. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact Burnaby RCMP.
