(WAKA) – Montgomery Public Schools has held its 2026 convocation to prepare for the new school year. More than 3,000 teachers and school system employees were packed inside the Joe L. Reed Dunn-Oliver Acadome at Alabama State University today for the event. They shared a morning of inspiration, recognition and leadership as they prepare to welcome students back for a new school year on Monday, August 10.
