She arrived at Ocean Terminal this morning on a British Isles cruise from Dover, featuring visits to Cobh, Dun Laoghaire, Liverpool, Holyhead and Belfast as well as to the Clyde. She can carry up to 2,500 passengers and 930 crew across 12 decks, and in her 24-year history has made many visits to the town. On board, passengers can enjoy seven fining venues, six bars, a dance club, a running track, a casino and an on-board aqua park. Built in Helsinki and launched in 2001, she entered service the following year after being christened by actor Dame Judi Dench prior to her maiden voyage. Carnival Legend's next visit to Greenock, and her last call of the year, is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, as part of a 10-night UK cruise.
