With Congress running short on legislative days before the end of the year, many farm leaders now fear the window to finally replace the outdated 2018 Farm Bill is rapidly closing.
Farmers and ranchers already struggling through prolonged financial losses now face even greater uncertainty as outdated commodity programs, conservation initiatives, export promotion efforts, and other critical farm bill priorities remain in limbo.
“We are deeply disappointed that senators failed to advance a farm bill today,” Duvall said.
We implore senators to approve a bipartisan farm bill that extends consumer access to E15 and serves the interests of America’s farmers.
