Key worker flats plans approved after s106 agreements finalised
[]
Slough Observer | News
In September last year, developer Cedarstone Capital Partners and Pinnacle AS Holdings submitted plans to knock down 204-208 Slough High Street to make way for 274 key worker flats.
Priority will be given to local NHS employees from Wexham Park Hospital and then to out-of-borough NHS staff.
Current accommodation at Wexham Park Hospital is ‘dilapidated’ and ‘not fit for purpose’, he said.
Of the 274 key worker flats, all will be studio apartments, with ensuite bathrooms and kitchenettes.
Because the development is car-free, a shuttle bus service that currently goes to Wexham Park Hospital could be expanded to better serve the high street scheme, the application said.
