Hawaiʻi County is accepting proposals for the Event Sponsorship Program. A total of $250,000 is available, with applicants eligible to receive up to an aggregate maximum of $25,000. Selected events must occur within the contract period of Oct. 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the County of Hawaiʻi’s OpenGov Procurement System no later than 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2026. The deadline to submit questions or requests for clarification through OpenGov is 11:59 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2026.
