The University Heights Academy Lady Blazers continued their tight grasp on the Second Region All A Classic golf with a sixth straight team title on Thursday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club. Eighth-grader Ella Perry took the individual title with a 9-over par 80, following a double bogey with consecutive pars to edge teammate Campbell Lindsey by one shot. While there was some doubt regarding which Lady Blazer would win the individual title, there was no such drama in the team score as UHA’s 334 easily outpaced runner-up Trigg County’s 432. UHA’s region title was their sixth straight and eighth in the last nine years. They will play in the All A Classic State Tournament on August 30 at Arlington Golf Course in Richmond.
