Livingston Central’s Ty Williams took control of Thursday’s All A Classic region golf tournament midway through the front nine and picked up a two-shot win on Thursday at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club. The Cardinal senior shot a 6-over par 77 to finish two shots ahead of second-place Cruz Egbert of Heritage Christian Academy. Williams overcame a triple-bogey on the second hole and made par on his next seven holes to make the turn at 38. Livingston Central’s team score of 339 was three shots behind the region winner, University Heights Academy. Williams will play in the All A Classic State Tournament on August 30 at Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond.
