Police standoff in Millville, NJ ends in fatal shootingMILLVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A daylong police presence outside a home on Hazel Boulevard in Millville ended in a fatal shooting Thursday, according to the New Jersey Attorney General's Office. Neighbors said officers arrived around 8 a.m. and described the situation as a standoff. A shattered window was visible from the street, one of the few signs of what may have unfolded inside the home. The attorney general's office said its Office of Public Integrity and Accountability is investigating an officer-involved shooting and confirmed that one adult male civilian died. The attorney general's office said the investigation remains ongoing and no additional details are being released at this time.
