A Leitchfield man has pled guilty to multiple felony charges after fleeing from deputies while impaired and crashing into a wall. Daniel R. Coogle, 33, pled guilty this week in Breckinridge County to DUI (controlled substance), two counts of felony wanton endangerment of a police officer, first-degree criminal mischief, two counts of fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle, on foot), and failure to maintain insurance. Coogle then turned onto Hwy 690 where the deputy attempted to stop Coogle, but the suspect fled onto Richard Moore Road. Coogle then struck a wall, as the suspect exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Coogle was charged with felony wanton endangerment of a police officer, felony wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle, on foot), his fourth DUI, first-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, speeding 26 mph or more over the limit, and failure to maintain insurance.
