After guilty verdicts on all charges, a Walhalla man learned his fate of two consecutive life sentences. Tenth Solicitor Micah Black last night announced that Darrell Scott Brooks was found guilty of assault with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct and grand larceny. Black told 101.7/WGOG NEWS: “I am thankful the jury saw the evidence for what it was and convicted the defendant on all counts. I pray the victim will be able to move forward with her life and put the horrible event she experienced behind her.” A further announcement is to be made later today on the case of South Carolina v. Brooks.
