This places both Upstate powerhouses right next to each other on the state leaderboard, immediately turning up the heat on their fierce local rivalry ahead of the 2026 season kickoff. Both teams enter the 2026 season with massive expectations after posting stellar 10-2 records last year. The rankings set a perfect stage for October 9, 2026, when Seneca is scheduled to host Daniel in what is already tracking to be one of the most anticipated Class 3A matchups of the year.
